Accessibility statement
Prime Cognition World M.I.K.E. is committed to making www.primecognition.org accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. Accessibility is part of how we build our own products, and we hold this website to the same standard.
Conformance status
This website aims to conform to WCAG 2.1 level AA, the standard referenced by EN 301 549 and the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882).
Current status: partially conformant. “Partially conformant” means most of the content meets the standard, with the exceptions listed below. This assessment is based on our own review, not an external audit.
Measures we take
- All text and background colour pairs are checked against the AA contrast ratio (4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large text).
- Semantic HTML with a single
h1and a logical heading order; landmarks for navigation, main content and footer. - Every interactive control is reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
- A “skip to content” link is the first focusable element on the page.
- All meaningful images have text alternatives; decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology.
- Form fields have persistent, programmatically associated labels; status messages are announced through a live region.
- Animation is disabled automatically for visitors whose system requests
prefers-reduced-motion. - The page is responsive and remains usable when zoomed or at narrow widths, without horizontal scrolling.
- Content is offered in English and Greek, with the page language set programmatically so screen readers pronounce it correctly.
Known limitations
We are aware of the following, and are working to address them:
- 3D emblem on the home page. The rotating logo is a WebGL canvas whose segments can be clicked to jump to a business sector. It is not yet keyboard operable. Mitigation: every destination it links to is also reachable through the main navigation and the “Jump to” product index, so no content or function is only available through the emblem. A static image is shown where WebGL is unavailable or motion is reduced.
- Greek typography fallback. Our display typeface has no Greek glyphs, so Greek text is rendered in a companion typeface. This affects appearance only, not readability or contrast.
- PDF documents. The EU funding posters we link to are produced by the funding programmes and may not be fully accessible. We can provide their content in another format on request.
Compatibility
This website is designed to work with recent versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari, on desktop and mobile, in combination with the screen readers those platforms provide. It does not rely on any browser plug-in.
Technical specification
Accessibility relies on HTML, CSS, WAI-ARIA, JavaScript and WebGL. Where JavaScript or WebGL is unavailable, the page degrades to static content rather than failing.

This statement was prepared on 17 July 2026 following an internal review of the site against WCAG 2.1 level AA, combining automated checks with manual keyboard and contrast testing. It has not yet been validated by an independent third party. We review it whenever the site changes materially.
